If you
find a home you’d like
to buy, you need to make an offer to
the person who is selling it. This
means that you decide how much you
think the home is worth and then you
offer to buy it from the seller for
that amount. If the seller is using
an estate agent, they pass on your
offer to the seller and then tell you
if it has been accepted.
There is nothing legally binding about
making an offer so you can change your
mind at this stage.
